Safety Marine Launches New Marine Safety E-Newsletter
Marine Safety equipment specialists, Safety Marine, has launched a new monthly e-newsletter about all aspects of marine safety, to help leisure boat owners and charter vessel operators keep up-to-date with legislation changes, technical developments, new products, and best practice.

Commenting on the new initiative, Karl Pentin, Director of Safety Marine, said, "Feedback from our customers has shown that they find it very difficult to keep up-to-date with new safety product developments, legal requirements, and how to get the best out of the safety equipment they may already have on board."

Commenting on the first issue of The Beacon, boat owner, Mike Garside, said, "As a two-time sailing circumnavigator (1982-94 and 1998-99), I am now preparing, long-term, for my third round-the-world voyage. However, due to the lengthy gaps between my voyaging, it's easy to get out of touch with new developments such as those covered in The Beacon. Thanks for the first issue - it is most useful."
