In the engine bay of many vessels the performance of an automatic engine fire extinguisher system may be adversley affected by the very equipment it is designed to protect.

Engines, blowers and ventilators can consume or deplete the extinguishing agent before the fire is fully extinguished.

The Sea-Fire ESRS Engine shutdown system is designed to automatically shutdown engines and any other ventilation system as soon as the Sea-Fire system detects a fire and is activated.

Three sizes are available which can shut down 4, 6 or 8 different devices. For example the ESRS 4-Circuit model could shut down two engines and two engine bay blowers/ventilators.

The ESRS 6-Circuit model could shut down two engines, a generator, two engine bay blowers/ventilators and one other piece of equipment.

This new generation ESRS shutdown system takes advantage of microprocessor technology to improve the functionally and flexibility of the traditional ESRS.

Attention has been focused on producing a unit that is quick and simple to install. The new display panel is a plug and play via a CAT5 cable connection. All ESRS models comply with ISO marine 8846 and meet CE approval standards.
