The new Crewfit 190N raises the bar lifejacket design. Aimed squarely at today's boating enthusiast, it is packed with cutting edge design features and offers exceptional performance in the most demanding environments.
Lightweight, extremely comfortable to wear and thoroughly modern, the 190N is much shorter and more compact than the ever-popular Crewfit 150N - a benchmark for quality and performance over many years.
Approved to the new standard BS EN ISO 12402, the Crewfit 190N has a special patented inflation chamber designed to support the user in complete safety, even when wearing heavy waterproof clothing
When inflated two asymmetric lobes overlap to provide maximum turning performance when unconscious. The curved outer shaping and neck design increase mouth freeboard and ensure the wearer's head is kept well clear of the water and at the optimum angle.
Other advanced features include a new lifejacket cover, which is shaped three-dimensionally to follow the body's natural contours. The design team has developed an all new adjustment system that ensures the Lifejacket can be securely fitted safely and easily. Dual side adjusters allow the user to quickly customize the Lifejacket to suit their individual requirements
An integrated back mesh panel and fixed dual crutch straps also help keep the lifejacket in the correct position at all times.
The Crewfit 190N features a NEW YKK quick burst zip closure and this 'harness' model is fitted as standard with a deck safety harness. The automatic firing head is the MK5i Standard Automatic Inflation mechanism using a 38g CO2 cylinder which is protected by a Neoprene cover ensuring reliability even in the most demanding conditions.
These "Plus" versions of the Crewfit 190N range are also equipped with an all new integral spray hood and lifejacket light. Conveniently stowed into the back of the collar the permanently attached hood is deployed and easily accessible when the Lifejacket inflates. The Lifejacket light is fully SOLAS and MCA approved as standard and features an innovative attachment system to ensure excellent visibility.
